How to manage your address book in RoundCube

RoundCube includes a built-in Address Book feature that allows you to store, organize, and manage contacts efficiently. Below is a step-by-step guide on how to add, edit, delete, and organize your contacts in RoundCube.


1. Accessing the Address Book

  1. Log in to your RoundCube Webmail.
  2. Click on the “Address Book” icon in the top navigation menu.
  3. The Address Book interface will open, showing your saved contacts.

2. Adding a New Contact

To add a new contact:

  1. Click the “+” (Add Contact) button in the top-left corner.
  2. A contact form will appear where you can enter details:
    • Name
    • Email Address
    • Phone Number
    • Company Name
    • Address
    • Notes (for additional details)
  3. Click “Save” to store the contact.

📌 Tip: You can add multiple email addresses for a contact by clicking “Add Email”.


3. Editing an Existing Contact

If you need to update contact information:

  1. Select the contact you want to edit.
  2. Click the “Edit” (pencil icon).

1) Click the Address Book link here

This is the address book, which lists all contacts we choose to include in our address book

2) By selecting a specific contact, their details will display here in the right window

3) We can add a new contact to our address book by clicking here…..

4) ….. and filling in the contact’s information

5) Click Save

6) You can edit any of your contacts by highlighting them, then clicking the Edit Contact button

7) To remove a contact from the address book, highlight it…..

8) ….. then click the Remove icon

With a contact selected, you can click the Compose Mail To icon here to send them an email

9) Or if you want to send an email to multiple contacts, hold down your CTRL key while selecting multiple contacts…..

10) ….. then click the Compose Mail To icon

As you can see, the Compose Email window has opened, and our two contacts have automatically been inserted into the Recipient field
